USA Presidential Election: Impact on India

‘A vote is like a rifle: its usefulness depends upon the character of the user.” ― Theodore Roosevelt. It is well known to us that  USA Election this time appears to be crucial.  Therefore in January 2017 the world’s most powerful nation would elect a new leader, who would not act only a head of the state, but also the ‘commander in chief of the largest military on the planet’. Trade deal with India would be  surprising no matter   the democratic or republican who would win.  The Democrats are traditionally against  global trade and outsourcing of labours  to other country like India. In this regard the Democrats might not offer the best one for India. Republicans are more visionary when it comes to the policies on foreign trade and Republication president might offer a good exchange with India. The Democrats candidate had a ‘good runs with  Indian-Americans in the past’ and had a very  experienced foreign policy which was implemented rigorously. It could be  assumed that it would bring   good hope in the advancement of nuclear deal that had been supported by democrats since long time back.

Psycho social  impact would be as follows:  The role of emotion have drawn the attention of politician very recently. It was due to the belief that well run nation  are nicely designed with  the emotion and affect. Aggression, anger , envy , jealousy are to be dealt with such a manner so that there could be less accumulation of  negative  energy  in the mind of people.  India  is well known for transformation of society psych spiritually, no matter the democrats or the republicans who would win extend their hands in national and cultural aspects. The policy maker would give especial emphasis on motivation and emotion, leadership, conflict resolution and decision making. Another chief emphasis on India-USA relationship would be sociocultural aspects -giving promising rewards,  providing international exchange program, visiting fellowship, post-doctoral research avenues.  The Democrats and the republicans would go hand in hand with India.

Indeed India is a good position to deal with certain changes  due to the presidential election in USA. Last but not least hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
